A Global client is seeking a highly skilled AWS Platform Engineer to join their dynamic and innovative manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions while driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and interpret business needs, transforming concepts into successful implementations.
- Design and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance AWS cloud environments.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and automated testing tools.
- Work with a wide range of AWS services, including Amazon SageMaker, API Gateway, VPC, S3, Step Functions, EventBridge, Lambda, and more.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions with Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Support machine learning model training, deployment, and lifecycle management.
- Enhance security, networking, and compliance across AWS infrastructure.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience);
- AWS Certified Developer Associate or AWS Certified Solution Architect.
- 5+ years in a similar role (e.g., DevOps Engineer).
- Strong expertise in AWS networking and security hardening.
- Proficiency in Python for automation and development.
- Hands-on experience with data engineering, ETL processes, and data storage solutions.
- Familiarity with ML build and release pipelines.
