As an Azure Data Engineer, you must be able to design, build, and optimize a scalable, reusable data framework to support advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives. Your expertise in Microsoft Azure data services will be crucial in enabling data-driven actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks.
- Design and implement modern data warehouse solutions leveraging Azure Data Lake.
- Work collaboratively with system architects, data scientists, and business teams to ensure data availability and quality.
- Optimize data models, storage solutions, and data processing frameworks for performance and scalability.
- Ensure data privacy, security, compliance, and governance in all data solutions.
- Develop and maintain metadata management and orchestration architecture for AI/ML pipelines.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 15 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Azure data services.
- Expertise in SQL, Python, Scala, and Java.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure tools, including:
- Azure Data Factory (ETL/ELT pipelines)
- Azure Synapse Analytics (Data Warehousing & Analytics)
- Azure Data Lake (Storage & Processing)
- Azure Databricks (Big Data & Machine Learning)
- Azure Stream Analytics (Real-time Data Processing)
- Power BI (Data Visualization & Reporting
