A global group offering IT Solutions with a focus on innovation topics such as Development and Operations for SAP, JAVA, Azure, Cloud etc, are in search of a Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting complex data sets to provide valuable insights and support strategic decision-making within the organisation. You will collaborate closely with various teams across the company, to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities that drive operational efficiency and improve customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Cleanse, validate, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Utilise statistical techniques and data mining algorithms to analyse large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to understand business requirements and priorities.
- Provide analytical support and insights to assist in the development and implementation of business initiatives and process improvements.
- Advocating for efficient and effective processes within the ICT team, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing process enhancements.
- Ensuring that ICT solutions and services meet the needs and expectations of internal and external customers and championing a customer-centric approach within the ICT team.
- Implementing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring business continuity. Ability to resolve problems at database level.
- Analysing business requirements and translating them into feasible ICT solutions, evaluating options, and recommending appropriate technologies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant Degree in related field
- 4-6 years’ experience in data migration and data analysis
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
- SAP BW Reporting
- Data Analytics Skills
- SAP Analytics Cloud Reporting
The Reference Number for this position is NG59593 which is a Contract Hybrid position based in Johannesburg offering a contract rate from R480 to R580 per hour negotiable on experience and ability.
