Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret complex datasets using statistical methods to uncover valuable insights and trends.
- Data Mining: Utilize machine learning techniques to discover patterns in large datasets, enhancing our data-driven strategies.
- Data Visualization: Create impactful visualizations and dashboards that effectively communicate data insights to stakeholders.
- Data Cleaning: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data by cleaning and preprocessing datasets.
- Data Modelling: Build and test predictive models to forecast future trends and outcomes, supporting strategic decision-making.
- Reporting: Develop comprehensive reports and presentations that summarize findings and actionable recommendations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data science team members and other departments to identify business problems and collaboratively develop innovative solutions.
- Programming: Write scripts and code in SQL to automate data analysis processes and streamline workflows.
Qualifications and experience:
- National Diploma in Information Technology or Bachelor of Degree
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on Azure and Fabric. (+ 3 Years)
- Relevant certifications in Azure and data engineering.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, data mining, and statistical methods.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Solid understanding of data cleaning and pre-processing methodologies.
- Familiarity with predictive modelling and forecasting techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with automating data workflows.
