A consultancy specialising in AI and applications, with a primary focus on helping enterprise clients to extract business value by implementing AI solutions and maximise a desired return on investment are in the market for a Data Manager with a proven track record of leading data transformation initiatives and delivering strategic business value through data solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Overall management of the Data Services.
• Design, implement, deploy and maintain reporting services (internal and client facing).
• Design, implement, deploy and maintain data integrations with external sources and suppliers.
• Design inputs to application databases and data flow/integration processes.
• Administrative and management tasks associated with staff or contractors to the Data Department.
• Research and Development of data related technologies – Storage, ETL, Integration, Analytics etc.
• Provide analytic and data insight support to all business units (management, marketing, operations).

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualifications or certifications in Cloud Solutions, Data Warehousing, or AI/ML would be advantageous.
• 10+ years of experience in data management, business intelligence, and cloud-based architecture, with a focus on big data, AI/ML, and data governance.
• Demonstrable success in managing cross-functional data teams in the Financial Services, FinTech, or Telecom industries.
• Experience with leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for large-scale data projects.
• Proven track record of leading data transformation initiatives and delivering strategic business value through data solutions.
• Expertise in data architecture, data warehousing, and data lakes using platforms such as Redshift, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Proficiency in big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as AWS Glue, Fivetran, and Airflow.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and other programming languages relevant to data analytics and machine learning.
• Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive analytics.
