Required experience and qualification:
- Candidates must have a strong academic record (first or distinction) in an Engineering or Computer Science Degree
- 15+ years of experience working in embedded software development with a focus on complex embedded systems and experience with radio networks at the physical layer
- Embedded C, C/C++, RTOS, bare-metal
- Deep experience with complex networks at the Physical/Data Link layer
- Experience with RF Transceivers (ISM, BT, WIFI, UWB, etc)
- UWB experience or experience with precision locating (MWR, TOA)
- Experience with multiplexing schemes (TDMA, CDMA, FDMA, etc)
- Experience with mesh networking (desirable)
- Makefiles, GCC, cross-compilation, code profiling, unit tests
- FW Loaders, bootloaders, peripheral drivers (Wireless, SPI, I2C, UART, USB)
- JTAG, GDB, debugging using GPIO, Oscilloscope, and Digital Analyzers
- Experience using bespoke protocols and compression algorithms
- Linux, Python, Version control (GIT)
