Our client is currently seeking a Senior Software Developer specializing in Node.js for their Offices nationally. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining cloud solutions, with a focus on back-end Node.js development using modern frameworks and technologies.
Requirements:
- You have completed a relevant degree or diploma (Honours or postgrad preferred) or have comparable practical experience
- A minimum of 8 or more years’ experience building custom web-based applications
- Design Patterns
- Knowledge of SOLID Principles & Design Patterns
- Understands and have working experience with Git Source Control
- Have experience with Node.JS and Nest.JS
- Have experience with Agile & Test-Driven Development experience
- Have experience with building search systems at scale.
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript
- SQL and how to write high-performance queries
- Understand Docker, Kubernetes, Bash
- You have expertise in web development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Responsibilities:
- Technical architectural design
- Develop and document design, source code and technical architecture
- Maintain and manage existing source code
- Design, develop and implement solutions to users’ needs and requirements
- Review and improve code
- Run tests and fix bugs
- Coordinate with architects and business analysts to determine functionalities
- Develop technical solutions to complex business problems
- Design and develop technical solutions for enterprise-level projects
- Design and develop data analysis solution
