Our client is searching for a Solution Architect to join our growing Technology team. If you’re passionate about designing scalable, secure, and data-driven solutions while collaborating across teams, this role is for you!
Responsibilities
- Platform Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of our platform, architecture, and design.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with teams across the business to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the design of scalable, reliable, and secure data solutions that align with client needs and business goals.
- Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on best practices, frameworks, and technologies.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to build integrated solutions.
- End-to-End Delivery: Oversee the full solution lifecycle—from design to deployment and testing.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and recommend tools and technologies to enhance solution performance and scalability.
- Documentation & Training: Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation and provide training when needed.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks proactively.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, Software Architect, or similar role.
Proven expertise in Azure technologies.
Strong background in software development, data engineering, and data science workflows. - Proficiency in .NET and Python.
Experience working under ISO 27001 & NIST compliance frameworks.
Familiarity with Big Data, DevOps, MLOps, cloud-based data storage, and data processing frameworks.
Understanding of machine learning and AI technologies.
Excellent communication skills—able to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
The Reference Number for this position is NG60181 which is a Permanent position based in Pretoria offering a cost to company from R1.3mil up to R1.5mil per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
